It's a screamer!
You fill with water place over a heat source and it whistles when the water boils. What will they think of next? Marvelous invention and the color enhances the color of my eyes.

I really like this tea kettle. It's a perfect smaller size not too small not too big. Just right. The whistle works perfectly and it feels well constructed.

I drink hot tea everyday! So of course I had to buy this when I redid my kitchen with all red items. I just love it! It looks great with my red Tea Set.

Very well made
This teapot is very well made shiny and vibrant. It has a few drawbacks namely the porcelain enamel that gives it it's appealing look. It's not dishwasher safe it has some rather detailed care instructions including removing the water from it after ever use I make a lot of hot tea and chocolate by the cup so this is frustrating and wiping it down with a specific type of sponge which I had to go buy. Realistically it's very nice to see on the stove daily but for maintenance I would recommend something a little more practical.

I HATE THIS TEA KETTLE
I wanted a red tea kettle. This one was a nice read great shape and honestly the right priceBUT IT SUCKS! The first huge problem is that you can't pour your tea because the handle gets hotREALLY HOT. The second thing is that the sides of the pourer have already melted. YepMELTED! Can you imagine a teapot that can't handle the heat of the tea? Rachael Ray should be ashamed of herself. Putting her name on a product that is subpar and unusable. I want to return it but not sure I can at this pointI'm going to try though. Ridiculous.

I love the color I love the way it whistle I love it so so much and recommend it to all.

Perfect curling stones
I can't comment on how this product functions as a teakettle but we bought 6 weighted them and used them as curling stones on a frozen pond.
